György Ligeti - Six Bagatelles for Wind Quintet

The Tunnell Trust supports the best of young chamber ensembles and we are pleased to be hosting one of their award-winning groups. Cavendish Winds formed as a quintet when its members met as postgraduates at the Royal Academy of Music, and they have made an impact with their ‘impeccable ensemble sound, intonation and communication’. Their programme, which includes a newly commissioned work, offers a wide variety in character and style, an appealing selection of works from the wind quintet repertoire.
